Blue Moonlight Oil Painting Finished - Four Foot by Four Foot Seascape on Canvas

Blue Moonlight Oil Painting Finished - Four Foot by Four Foot Seascape on Canvas with a nice dark wood frame is for sale. I have just completed this large painting of the Black Hall River looking towards the Saybrook Breakwater Lighthouse and the Lynde Light in Old Saybrook.  The light is on in the lighthouses in Old Saybrook, Connecticut with the moon shining in the painting creates a marvelous mood. I have enjoyed painting this moonlight scene and this would look great on a large wall. This oil painting will be at the Hidden Gallery in Old Lyme today so stop by and take a look.

Hand Painted Table with White Lily

This is my latest hand painted table, it is a more modern design than the beach scenes. I have painted many lily flowers in all colors. I like this white lily with the blue shadows wrapping over the table edge. This is a natural birch wood table with an original acrylic painting of a lily flower. Protective glossy finish over the original painting for durability. Table top is 15" diameter with a height of 18". The painting flows over onto the edge of the table top for a 3 dimensional effect, all hand painted! Can be shipped, email or call for pricing: pj@pjcookartist.com or 860-539-4457.

My next project will be two acrylic paintings, one of a sunflower and the other a pineapple. I am still working on the seascape oil painting and should have my next step done soon. So check back for my post on painting the ocean wave.
Thanks, PJ

Blue Crab Bar Stools - Latest Design For Hand Painted Stools and Tables

I had these bar stools at my outdoor art show in Old Lyme this past weekend. These were done as a special order for a customer. They attracted much attention from the people attending the art show. These bar stools were a gift to the owners of a restaurant called The Blue Crab, what a great idea. I enjoyed painting the blue crabs and I will be painting more of them. I can paint any design and color on these stools and tables to match any decor. I offer different heights and styles of chairs, tables and stools, all hand painted with original art. Email for more details. Thanks, PJ

Latest Beach Painting Finished

This is my latest acrylic beach painting. I have this painting on the back of a wood chair. I am currently finish the wood grain effect for the chair. It is a whitewash effect so it will look great with any beach or nautical decor. I added the beach roses to the path, I think it adds nice color.
I applied a thick gloss finish to the painting, it gives it some depth. This is the third chair for the beach series. I plan on having four chairs included in the set, one more to go!

The picture to the right is my finished bar stool with a beach path painting on the seat. This path does not have the fence just the beach roses. If you would like information on purchasing any of these send me an email pj@pjcookartist.com
