Latest Hand Painted Chair Finished!

Here is the sunset hand painted chair with a dock painted on the seat and continuing up on the back of the chair. I had the chair at a show over the weekend and many people commented on the originality and technique. Many people did not realize that I painted all the wood grain, it looks that authentic.
The distant background in the painting is a sailboat going by the Lynde Point Lighthouse in Old Saybrook, CT. My goal for this project was to portray a dock on the seat of the chair and having it recede into a sunset view on the back of the wood chair.
