Continuing Oil Painting of the Flying Horse Carousel in Watch Hill, Rhode Island - follow along
I have continued painting the area around the flying horse carousel and I have started blocking in the green foliage in the foreground. I still have quite a bit of work to do in the foreground area and the carousel. I will be adding the detail under the roof of the carousel last. The foreground bushes are those glossy shiny leaves with an interesting shape. Seeing that this painting is so big (4 feet by 4 feet) it will take me some time to complete these two areas.
