Next Step in Watch Hill Rhode Island Flying Horse Carousel Oil Painting
I am continuing the painting of the flying horse carousel at Watch Hill, RI. I had started painting the sky and water and continued moving forward in the painting to the buildings and foreground greenery. I'm following the values or the light and dark areas of the painting that were done with the burnt sienna paint. Now I have all the burnt sienna covered except for the inside of the carousel. There is quite a bit of detail where the flying horses and the figures are so I will be painting those areas next. At this stage I am just trying to block in all areas of the canvas.
